Committee Chairs

Akhil Loya

 Akhil is thrilled to be serving as the chair for the Ad-Hoc committee at MMSMUN XIV. He first participated in Model UN in sixth grade and was immediately drawn to the fast-paced negotiations and diplomatic challenges. Since then, he has attended seven conferences, earning numerous accolades, including three Verbal Commendations, an Honorable Mention, and one Best Delegate. Apart from Model UN, he has played cricket for five years with a local team. Akhil is also actively involved in science-related activities, such as participating in an Independent Research Project (IRP) for two years and shadowing a doctor for over 25 hours. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball with friends, biking in his neighborhood, and studying. Akhil is excited to see the innovative solutions and contributions that delegates will bring to the Ad-Hoc committee this year, and wishes everyone the best of luck!

Anjali Khemka

 Anjali Khemka is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School and is incredibly honored to serve as your chair for Ad Hoc. She has been a consistent member of the Model UN community since 6th grade and has adored it ever since! Anjali has participated in and received several awards at over 4 conferences. Apart from Model UN, Anjali has been an active player of the Moody Girls’ Basketball team for the past three years and is also President of the Moody Economics and Business Club. In addition, she is also very passionate about IRP and TSA, for which she received an award and qualified for Nationals last year. Outside of school, you can find her hanging out with her friends, pursuing her hobbies, and swimming for NOVA’s Team. Anjali wishes the best of luck to all delegates and can’t wait to see everyone thrive in the committee!

Adwaidh Krishna Renjith

Adwaidh Krishna Renjith

Adwaidh Krishna Renjith is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School and is extremely excited to

be your chair for Ad Hoc. He has been doing Model UN since 7th grade, going to 5 conferences

and winning 3 awards. He also tutors students in Model UN in JRAD, and is extremely

passionate about Model UN and Public Speaking. Outside of Model UN, Adwaidh plays soccer, is

on the wrestling team, enjoys reading, and playing video games. He can’t wait to see you in committee!
