
Mithun Sethuraman is a 8th grader at George H. Moody Middle School who is participating in his third year of MUN. He loves MUN and is very enthusiastic about public speaking including MUN and debate. Mithun has become more and more passionate for MUN over the years, and he has achieved his goal of being a sec-gen in 8th grade! Additionally, he has recieved 9 awards in various conferences. Outside of school, Mithun enjoys playing cricket and pickleball with his dad. He also loves chess and music, and he takes these as his hobbies. Mithun plays instruments such as piano, xylophone, drum kit, and he is a percussionist in his school Advanced band. Mithun can't wait to see wonderful delegates at this year's conference!

Cindy Long is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School, and she is incredibly honored to be serving as your Director General. She has been an active member of the Model UN community since 6th grade, participating in 7 conferences since then, having been awarded Best Delegate and later the Exemplary Chair Award at MMSMUN itself, along with multiple other awards at conferences such as GSMUN and GODMUN. In addition to MUN, she is also one of the school’s Debate Leaders, and a member of the Moody MathCounts team. Outside of school, you can find her dancing competitively as well as spending time with family and friends. She can’t wait to see all the delegates in April and wishes them the best of luck!

Ansh Shrivastava is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School and is honored to be serving as your Under-Secretary General of General Assemblies. Starting in 7th grade, he found a passion in the complex world of Model UN, and has won multiple awards. When he isn't working on Model UN, you can find him playing tennis, writing, or learning about the world. Ansh is also a member of the school's tennis team, where he excels. When he's not playing tennis or studying for school, Ansh can be found hanging out with friends or playing video games. He can't wait to see all the delegates in action in MUN.

Anish is honored to be your USG of GA for this year. Anish likes to do MUN and a lot of other cool stuff. In his free time, he likes hanging around with my friends, doing extracurriculars such as FBLA and debate, or playing pickleball when he’s not studying. He is a person who doesn’t know when to stop, so you can find him working on TSA projects such as the Junior Solar Sprint event, or working on his new club with a board of friends (MEBC). He also loves playing volleyball on the weekends and volunteering when he can such as running a full-year Model UN camp (JRAD).

Aasrith Jangala is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School and is thrilled to be serving as your Under-Secretary General for Specialized Agencies. Aasrith first participated in Model UN in sixth grade, and he found an exceptional excitement in solving world problems. Over the past few years, he has participated in 8 conferences, winning awards in conferences such as TUCMUN, GSMUN, etc. Apart from Model UN, he can be found doing activities such as playing pickleball with his friends, coding websites, and more. He also does clubs such as Debate, FBLA, TSA, and HIC, where he has been invited to attend the 2025 FBLA National conference and serves as the Vice President of Moody's FBLA club. However, Aasrith’s favorite club is undoubtedly Model UN. He cannot wait to witness all the delegates in action this year and wishes everyone good luck!

Anusha Chakraborty is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School and is ecstatic to serve as your Under-Secretary General of Specialized Agencies. Anusha began her MUN journey in 7th grade, where she discovered her passion for the intricate world of Model UN. With over 6 conferences of experience, Anusha has won and participated in numerous specialized agencies. Apart from Model UN, she has been an active member of the Moody Girls tennis team for the past three years and is also the President of the Moody Forensics Club. Outside of her academics, she finds herself immersed in extracurriculars like jazz dance, piano, and robotics. She wishes the best of luck to all participants this year and can’t wait to see them all in April!

Yash Ganti is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School, and is ecstatic to serve as your Under-Secretary General of Crisis at MMSMUN XIV! Yash first discovered Model UN at MMSMUN XI and has been in love with it ever since. He is fully committed to delivering the best possible conference and is going to try his hardest to do that! He will work to deliver a variety of experiences that cater to both experienced and novice delegates, trying to build both’s skills as a delegate! Outside of MUN Yash participates in Tennis, Volleyball, Boy Scouts, and listening to music. He also enjoys gaming and exploring the world. Yash wishes the best of luck to all delegates. William Cale is a student at Moody Middle School, and is beyond thrilled to be your Under-Secretary General of Crisis Simulations. He first discovered Model UN here at MMSMUN, and since then has built a true passion for the incredible experiences Model UN delivers. William is determined to bring this year's conference to the next level, by providing an experience that cultivates the skills of delegates from all different levels and skillsets. If you ever need guidance during MMSMUN, he’ll be glad to help! In his free time, you can often find him playing baseball, swimming, reading, listening to music, and occasionally disassembling a computer. He also enjoys exploring the outdoors, by visiting National Parks across the country. William wishes the best of luck to all delegates, and can’t wait to see everyone in April!

Aswath Manikandan is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School and is honored to be the Director of Logistics for this year's Moody Model UN conference. He started Model UN when he was in 7th grade and has loved it ever since. When he isn't working on Model UN, you can find him playing cricket, tennis, or pickleball. Yuvan is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School and is thrilled to be your Director of External Communications. He has been doing Model UN since sixth grade, and continued Model UN since. He thinks of MUN as his true passion, attending a total of seven conferences including GSMUN, DRMUN, and of course MMSMUN Outside of school, He finds himself immersed in extracurriculars like Tennis, Coding, and Forensics. He also likes to spend time with his friends and is always ready to take up a challenge. He is elated to be a part of MMSMUN XIV this year.

Maneesh Ponnarasi Marikkannan is an 8th grader at Moody Middle School, and he’s thrilled to be the Director of Technology for this year’s Moody Model UN Conference! After discovering MUN in 6th grade, Maneesh’s passion for MUN has been going strong ever since. He has won multiple awards across the country at various schools. If it isn’t MUN, in his free time, he plays pickleball, hangs out with his friends, plays chess, or watches TV at home. He also does Carnatic Classical music, which he has been doing for 7 years! In clubs, he is in Moody’s Economics and Business Club(Current Vice President), FBLA(Parliamentarian), and more. Maneesh can’t wait to see the delegates at the conference and wishes luck to everyone competing!

Anisha Mandal is an 8th grader at Moody, and is thrilled to serve as your Director of Charitable Giving's. She first discovered Model UN in 5th grade, and eventually committed to it in 7th, attending 5+ conferences and winning awards in half. Other than Model UN, she also co-leads debate club, competes in TSA marketing, and founded the Caring Collective club which promotes mental wellness and serves hospitalized kids. Outside of school, you can find her going on long walks, playing pickleball with her friends, and cooking new recipes. She also loves traveling and playing the piano. Growing up, Advaith developed a passion for history, international affairs, and political science which led him to join Model UN. He has been very successful in Model UN, winning 5 awards in conferences such as GSMUN, TUCMUN, etc. Outside of school, Advaith is an avid debater, leading Moody's debate team. He also enjoys participating in the Technology Student Association(TSA), in which he qualified for the National tournament. Advaith is also passionate about Science and research, and has won 2 awards in his 6th and 7th grade years in the Metro Richmond Science Fair and the Virginia Junior Academy of Science (VJAS), respectively. Carnatic classical music is something that Advaith holds very close to his heart and has been pursuing it for six years. In his free time, Advaith enjoys playing chess, tennis, and pickleball. He looks forward to meeting every delegate at MMSMUN XIV.

Ms. Morris is ready for another year of sponsoring MMSMUN! She has been a Mathematics teacher in Henrico County for 20 years, but for the last 10 years Moody Middle School has been her home. Ms. Morris completed her Master of Interdisciplinary Studies at VCU and completed her bachelor's degree in Elementary and Middle School Education at Longwood University. During her free time, Ms Morris likes to keep herself busy with various forms of crafting and crocheting amigurumis. Ms. Morris is ready to help the Model UN’s voices of today become the leaders of tomorrow.
